Criteria for Membership

For a Tennessee presenting organization to enjoy full membership status & voting rights, the following criteria must be met:

Proof of official 501(c)(3) not-for-profit status;

Presenting (as distinguished from “producing”) at least three events featuring professional touring artists/companies per year;

Presentation of a cultural-based program being among the organization’s primary purposes.

Associate memberships are also offered within two categories, for presenters and non-presenters. Associate presenter members represent non-Tennessee presenting organizations (plus in-state emerging presenting organizations such as nonprofit Tennessee organizations which present fewer than three events yearly or are in process of establishing a presenting series).

 

Membership Categories and Fees

Presenters with annual Artist Fee Budgets under $25,000  –  $55
Presenters with annual Artist Fee Budgets under $50,000 – $105.00
Presenters with annual Artist Fee Budgets under $100,000 – $160.00
Presenters with annual Artist Fee Budgets over $100,000 – $210.00
Individual artists and self-represented performing arts companies – $105.00
Agencies with gross annual billings less than $1,000,000 – $160.00
Agencies with gross annual billings more than $1,000,000 – $265.00
